Hi and welcome to the world of Kids Ministry here at Cairns Baptist Church!!!

This site contains all the information you will need to have your children involved in one or more of the exciting programs we offer.

Here at CBC Kids we put a big focus on discipleship. We believe that as we disciple kids in their walk with Christ they will grow in faith keeping him the center of their lives, now and in the future. Our purpose as a kids ministry is to ‘Minister to children and their families equipping them to grow together in their relationship with Christ.’

Something special that is happening this year is a great addition to BeanBag that we have been planning for a long time now. We have put into place our program called ‘Friday Knights’ which is a bible study/discipleship event for kids in grade 4-7 with grade 3 being a float year. As such it will alternate with our traditional BeanBag program on Friday nights. 

Also this year we are providing an option for dinner after our BeanBag and Friday Knights programs. Between 6:30 and 7:30 we are serving dinner for all the kids and youth as well as parents. Dinner will be an extra $3 per person and parents are welcome to stay and eat.  

Each term this year we are going to have a family day where the whole family from kids to grandparents are invited to attend. The first two will be a day up at Tinaroo and then a family movie night + jumping castle just before Mothers Day. We hope that you all can attend and invite your friends for a great time out.

We are looking forward to a great year in 2013 and can’t wait to share some great times with you and your families.
